Old Business:
Dues of $1.00 per each KMHC member for the Pennsylvania Equine
Council are owed at this time. It was the general consensus KMHC wanted to continue
as members and to pay these dues.
The unused airline ticket for The Lee Crutchfield clinic is not
refundable as the airline would have had to be informed prior to the flight.
A discussion ensued and it was decided to have a contract drawn
up, between the exhibitors and KMHC, clearly defining the responsibilities of each party.
KMHC Christmas Breakfast:
There were 25 people in attendance this year; the general consensus was that a good time was had by all. Once again, the Chinese auction was a huge success. The
raffle earned us over $194.
Keystone Classic:
Three judges and a Steward have been secured. A block of rooms has been
reserved at a local hotel. The ribbon order is completed. The stakes class needs to be discussed by the committee.
Kathy Ballantine is handling the ads, including
business card ads. It was suggested that “good will” ads may also
be of interest to person’s who do not have a miniature horse business. Please

Macy’s Thanksgiving
Parade;
Kathy Ballantine is the committee
chair for the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade. However, she felt that there is not enough interest for 2007 yet. We
need to make a video and we have to have a routine and of course uniforms of some sort. Kathy needs to know if there
would be an interest for 2008.

Hambletonian Festival
Parade:
Sandy Lapp brought up the subject of this parade for discussion. Several
members expressed interest in participating. Here is a brief description of the
event.
Beginning at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 28, an
unparalleled number of equine units, marching bands and vintage cars will lead the way to Rutherford’s Lincoln Park,
where there will be food vendors, live music and free children’s entertainment, including pony rides, clowns and games.
Harness racing’s leading drivers and trainers will greet fans and sign autographs. And Hambo Tony, the Hambletonian
mascot, will hand out treats to children and pose for photos.
The parade is the first major event of the Hambletonian Festival at the Meadowlands, a week of stakes races and special
events, culminating in Hambletonian Day on Saturday, August 4.
Web Site:
Sandy Lapp has reported the need for additional space on our web site.
The up-grade cost would be $8.95 per month, from the current $4.95 per month.
This would include an email account and our own domain name.

A motion was made by Kathy LaFrana to up-grade to the $8.95 per
month service.
The motion was seconded by Sharyn Knecht, motion carried.
